Embodying liberation
A power-building vehicle for people of faith and shared values to build the beloved community.
we are the ones we've been waiting for!
we are the ones we've been waiting for!
Faith without action is just words.
At Delaney Hall, faith leaders from across the country put their faith on the line through disciplined nonviolent direct action. Together, we are building the courage and collective power to confront injustice and bring liberation into being.
“The question is not simply what we will do. The question is who we are willing to become.”
-Charlene Walker, Executive Director
Together, we can imagine a world beyond oppression, build the collective power to bring it into being, and become the people capable of making it real.
Faith on the front lines.

As our beloved neighbors inside Delaney Hall engaged in a hunger and labor strike for dignity and freedom, faith leaders and community members answered the moral call to stand in solidarity.
Federal agents responded with pepper spray and pepper balls, affecting U.S. Senator Andy Kim, faith leaders, and others gathered outside.
Our neighbors inside were courageously resisting their captivity. We refused to leave them standing alone.

What's Keeping You Up at Night?
What Are You Dreaming Of?
We believe the people who are feeling the injustice in this world hold the wisdom and imagination to build a liberated world.
What is happening in your life or community that keeps you up at night? What are your hopes and dreams for yourself, your loved ones, and the generations yet to come?
We want to hear your story. Together, we can find one another, imagine boldly, and organize the collective power to make those dreams real.
